Dr. Hany Michael, the Medical Director of Town and Country Animal Hospital, started his journey in January of 2022 with aspirations to offer something to clients that others did not by making them the “cornerstone” of his dream and operation.
Dr. Michael loves what he does and is excited to continue to grow with his hospital as well as grow a great relationship with his clients.
Dr. Michael obtained his undergrad and doctorate degrees at the Cairo University in Egypt in 2002 and later completed the United States/Canadian licensing process through AVMA/CAVMA after moving to Canada in 2012 and then to the U.S. in 2017.
Dr. Michael grew up in Cairo, Egypt with his parents and two siblings. When he was younger, Dr. Michael enjoyed playing soccer and doing anything outdoors. When asked why he wanted to be a veterinarian, Dr. Michael says, “Besides my passion for all pets, it was just God’s plan for me.”
Dr. Michael now resides in Miami with his wife, Engy whom he has known since they were in the vet school, and their three children, Michael, Karas and Lily Rose and their joyful dog Rocco. Together they enjoy spending time as a family and traveling. Dr. Michael also enjoys playing ping pong and fishing, but also enjoys watching sports games and playing soccer with his boys. Dr. Michael hopes to continue to grow his business while making sure family values are the foundation of all services provided at Town and Country Animal Hospital.
My name is Dr. Jennifer Seco, I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I am a first-generation Cuban American as well as the first doctor in my family. I have been working with Town and Country Animal Hospital since January 2021. Ever since the second grade, my dream was to become a veterinarian. Even though there were some that were skeptical of my dream, it gave me the drive to prove to myself that anything you put your mind to is possible. That dream became a reality in 2020 when I graduated from Ross University with a DVM degree. I completed my clinical studies at the University of Tennessee Knoxville where I was able to put everything I learned in vet school to the test. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends on my time off as well as any outdoor activities.
Dr. Perez was born and raised in Cuba. As a child she remembers always trying to help all the animals in her neighborhood. As a child she always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. In 2006, after a lot of hard work and study, she graduated from the University of Havana in Cuba for veterinary medicine. Years later, she worked in Africa as a veterinarian for one year. After some time, she then went to the U.S.A where she became a citizen and earned her veterinary license. Dr. Perez is passionate about her work because it directly helps animals. She speaks fluent English and Spanish. Her favorite color is purple. She owns two cats, one dog and one squirrel. In her free time, she enjoys going camping and fishing with her family.
